We visited that resort before and we greatly enjoyed food and location. We would like to highlight valet and service in bar. We had a magnificent view...
-
We enjoyed hotel's location and rooms👍😃
-
Large rooms, great location. Just a walk down to powell street metro stop, some 5 minutes walk.
-
The area contains some restaurants like Pinecrest Diner within 5 minutes' walk. Location just walking distance from everything we needed, like market street.
Liked everything.
-
Very nice rooms and general decoration of the hotel. The staff was very helpful. The bustling center with many nice restaurants are within walking distance.
Unfortunately, our bathroom was a bit outdated, you could see that especially by the worn bottom ...
-
The room was very spacious and beautiful, bathroom however very small. Good beds. The location all right, within walking distance of Union Square and Market Street.
Parking is only possible on the basis of valet at high rates. Otherwise you have to park your car somewhere in a public parking garage. Hotel had scaffolding in front of the door, is not such a nice entry.

Everything! Beautiful room, nice lobby, restaurant and red bar is great! There is a nice atmosphere!
You can only pay by credit card! No debit cards are accepted. staff is nice everywhere except at the reception!
-
good services, helpful people, great location
very expensive, even in comparison with other hotels in the area.
-
Lovely lively hotel with fine rooms (upgrade), very friendly and helpful staff, popular cocktail bar and super central location!
-
The location of the hotel was very good and the room was comfortable.
I would have been better if the price had included breakfast and the hotel had a free wifiservive for guests, or at least provide an internet room free of charge.
-
Excellent location, modest up-to-budget but stylish design.
Terrible noise from the street. Only one layer of glass on a window leaves gaps. I would strongly recommend to the hotel to put double glass windows!! NIghtmare!!
-
The staff were absolutely wonderful and so warm and friendly during my stay!
I understand that this hotel is older but my first room, 510, had extremely thin walls. I would rather not hear every giggle, chitter chatter or otherwise going on in the room next door at 1:30 am.
-
The staff was very nice and the lounge was cool- but expensive
Rooms tiny, bathtub doesn't drain well and bathroom flooded. Crime in area- shooting outside hotel when we stayed
-
We loved the room we had. We were upgraded because we were staying for 10 days. A special thank you to Tod! Who arranged it for us. He was an excellent person for the Clift to have on their staff!
-
we found a live flea in the bed, the hotel switched our room and ended up downgrading our room to a lower floor level. Next day, woke up w/ a flea bite on my leg. the hotel manager didn't care to follow up or offer any compensation.
